The Forestry Commission has announced a relief package for the England Woodland Creation Offer (EWCO), as well as other government-funded tree planning schemes including the Urban Tree Challenge Fund (UTCF) and the Local Authorities Treescapes Fund (LATF).

The package aims to help those whose trees and woodland died due to this year's heat and drought. Relief is only available to agreement holders who planted trees during the last planting season, between 2025 and 2026.

The Forestry Commission is inviting eligible agreement holders to apply before 15 November deadline.

Further guidance and details about the relief package are available on the government website.
