The rural sector is evolving rapidly, with the forthcoming government land-use framework, reforms to the tax regime and the push for decarbonisation likely to present complex challenges.

Meanwhile, new technologies such as geospatial data and AI are revolutionising rural land management, and regenerative agriculture is promising to boost both sustainability and land health.
